Abstract: Fundamentals of materials engineering is a comprehensive course that integrates theory and application. It combines classroom theoretical teaching with practical production, implements an integrated online and offline teaching mode, and adopts a formative evaluation mechanism to improve student participation in course learning. In teaching practice, teachers should implement ideological and political courses to stimulate students’ patriotism, professional confidence, and learning enthusiasm.
