Abstract:
By employing 3758 articles of recent years (1960—2023) belonging to the field of the
Huainanzi studies in CNKI as data source, the thesis systematically analyzed the research trends, authorship and affiliations, citation sources, hot topics, disciplinary perspectives and highly cited documents and drew the knowledge graph of the
Huainanzi studies based on the above-mentioned six aspects with the assistance of bibliometric software VOSviewer and CiteSpace. The outcomes delineated four pivotal stages characterizing domestic research on the
Huainanzi: nascent stage, low speed development, outbreak development, and continuous development. Notably, scholars and institutions converged predominantly in Anhui and Shandong provinces, highlighting figures like Gao Xu, Ding Lifu, and Dai Shu as central domain experts. The research focuses on Taoism, mythology, Confucianism and translation. Scholars have carried out research from a multidisciplinary perspective, which has promoted a deeper and more detailed interpretation of the
Huainanzi.
