Abstract: Promoting the integration of red culture into the ideological and political education of college students, using red culture to empower moral education in the new era, is not only a glorious mission for higher education institutions but also a necessary requirement for promoting the spirit of the Chinese nation, strengthening cultural confidence, and guiding the growth and development of college students. By clarifying the theoretical implications of red culture education discourse, discussing the dilemma of the discourse and its causes, this paper proposes effective pathways for integrating red culture into the ideological and political education of college students. These pathways include improving the structure of discourse subjects, enriching the content of discourse innovation, and transforming the way discourse is expressed. These efforts aim to enhance the educational effectiveness of red culture in nurturing students.
