Abstract: During Xi Jinping work in Fuzhou, he kept highly focus on environmental protection and ecological issues. His first proposal to put forward the goal of ecological city construction in China, which showing the scientific transformation of development goals from GDP first to give consideration to ecological goals, have made pioneering explorations into industrial ecology and ecological industrialisation facing the dilemma of economic development and environmental protection, and have carried out the bold working system reform of environmental governance, successfully exploring the path and reliance on ecological civilization. During his work in Fuzhou, Xi Jinping created a series of innovative ideas and practices for ecological construction, drawing up a grand blueprint for the construction of a modern ecological Fuzhou, and laying a solid practical foundation for the theory of ecological civilisation in the new era.
