    Abstract: Education is a decisive cause for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and it is essential to deeply interpret the spirit of educators to promote the development of education. From the perspective of its origin, the spirit of educators is based on the Marxist educational concept as the theoretical cornerstone, the traditional Chinese teacher culture as the spiritual foundation, and the Party’s century long educational practice as the practical perspective. From the perspective of spiritual traits, the spirit of an educator embodies the unique qualities of being rooted in the people, bravely shouldering the mission of rejuvenation, leading by virtue and being a role model, enlightening the mind, guiding research according to the situation, standing at the forefront of the trend, pioneering and innovating education, being benevolent and virtuous, silently nurturing people, integrating domestic and foreign cultures, and inheriting the essence of civilization. From the perspective of the value of the times, in the new journey, the spirit of educators has important value in building a strong teacher, a strong education foundation, and a strong country. It is the spiritual navigation mark leading the improvement of the quality of teachers in the new era, the spiritual source of helping the high-quality development of education in the new era, and the spiritual strength of promoting the construction of Chinese path to modernization in the new era.
