Abstract:
From the theoretical perspective of positive psychology, this study uses methods such as interviews and field investigations to explore the role of physical education in cultivating college students’ willpower and how togive full play to these roles. The research indicates that physical education plays a significant role in tempering psychological qualities, training perseverance, and shaping personality. Colleges and universities should clarify goals, optimize environments, and strengthen evaluations. They should incorporate the cultivation of willpower throughout the physical education process through deepening sports cognition, organizing competitive activities, and implementing individualized teaching.
