Abstract: The course of material corrosion and protection is closely integrated with theory and practice, covering the corrosion process and basic principles, as well as the basic methods and applications of corrosion protection. Teachers should integrate ideological and political elements into engineering cases such as the development of material corrosion, metal corrosion principles, and material corrosion protection, based on the characteristics of contemporary college students, using a mixed online and offline teaching approach. This will cultivate students' craftsmanship spirit and innovation ability, and improve the effectiveness of course teaching.
