Abstract: Rehabilitation aids and appliances protection system for the disabled is the subject of further comprehensive deepening of reform, the important content of perfecting the social security system for the disabled, and the system guarantee for improving the quality of life of the disabled. The protection system of rehabilitation aids and appliances for the disabled has initially formed a relatively complete system structure, including subsidy system, service system and industrial system, but there are shortcomings such as obvious fragmentation characteristics, systematicity to be enhanced; more basic type of protection, coverage to be broadened, distinctive features of regionalization, and linkage to be improved. The rehabilitation assistive device protection system for the disabled should be continuously optimized in terms of promoting systematicity, broadening coverage and enhancing linkage.
