Abstract: Since entering a new era, the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core followed the basic principles of Marxist Party building theory, summarized and drew on the valuable experience of the Party’s construction of the request and report system over the past century. In response to the current demands of Party building work, the innovative development of the request and report system has been promoted from the aspects of clarifying functional positioning, strengthening regulatory construction, improving assessment mechanisms, and promoting institutional integration, achieving the systematic construction of the request and report system. When exploring the future path of the request and report system, we should continue to adhere to the guidance of Marxist scientific theory, with the goal of strengthening the authority and centralized unified leadership of the Party Central Committee, with the main line of standing firm on the people’s position, and based on improving institutional construction, providing strong institutional guarantees for firmly achieving the “two safeguards”.
