Abstract:
Based on the dissemination data of CNKI from 2005 to 2023, taking the Journal of Anhui University of Technology (Natural Science Edition) as a case, this paper comprehensively employs time series analysis and spatial distribution measurement methods to investigate the online dissemination characteristics and influencing factors of engineering and technology university journals under the background of digital transformation. The results show that digital transformation has significantly enhanced the dissemination efficiency, with the download and page view of the journal achieving a leapfrog growth. The dissemination scope shows significant regional imbalance, with language barriers and insufficient inclusion in international databases being the main constraints. The discipline dissemination presents a “core-periphery” structure. The dissemination of individual articles is significantly stratified, with high-impact articles having a high proportion of views, and review articles and hot research topics performing prominently. In overseas dissemination, traditional advantageous discipline literature receives the highest attention, but the proportion of frequently viewed literature is not high, highlighting the bottleneck of international promotion. Based on the measurement analysis results, it is suggested to enhance dissemination efficiency from three aspects: promoting media deep integration, implementing online priority publication and building a full-media matrix; strengthening discipline characteristics, relying on advantageous disciplines to plan special issues and promoting cross-disciplinary innovation; expanding international cooperation, strengthening bilingual metadata construction and international index inclusion, and systematically enhancing global influence.
