Abstract: Digital agriculture is an important component of rural revitalization and the construction of a digital China. The accelerated development of new quality productive forces can provide new technological paths and development impetus for digital agriculture, which is conducive to promoting agricultural modernization, rural technological advancement, and the digital transformation of farmers. However, the current construction of digital agriculture still faces prominent issues such as the disconnection between policies and practices, insufficient digital literacy among villagers, and the outflow of talents. As an important force in rural governance and development, new rural elites can play a key role in the process of empowering digital agriculture with new quality productive forces. Through technological innovation, model innovation, and green development, the digitalization process in rural areas can be effectively promoted, the development level of digital agriculture can be enhanced, and strong support can be provided for the construction of an agricultural power.
