Abstract: Using methods such as literature research, field investigation, and statistical analysis, this study examines the representative intangible cultural heritage sports projects of Anhui Province and their distribution characteristics. It explores the practical foundation for digitally empowering the living heritage transmission of Anhui's sports-related intangible cultural heritage and proposes pathways for such transmission. The research concludes that digitally empowering the living heritage transmission of sports-related intangible cultural heritage aims to address challenges in interpersonal transmission by leveraging digital technologies to establish sports-related intangible cultural heritage databases and promote these projects. From text to digital: Anhui sports intangible cultural heritage database will be constructed. From field to stage: a broader performance platform for sports intangible cultural heritage projects will be created. From single to diverse: the converged media transmission pathways for sports intangible cultural heritage will be restructured. From Anhui to international: a sports intangible cultural heritage IP with distinctive Anhui cultural characteristics will be developed, thereby promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of China's outstanding traditional culture.
