Abstract:
This paper explores the significant theoretical and practical implications of integrating positive psychology into the discourse system of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Grounded in the scientific core of positive psychology and the unity between the two, it identifies intrinsic alignment in educational objectives, content, and principles between positive psychology and ideological and political education, forming the internal logic for their integrated development. Building upon an in-depth exploration of students' positive emotions, the study proposes constructing an ideological and political education discourse system centered on positive emotions, while strengthening discourse guidance anchored in a positive environment, to drive the innovative development of the ideological and political education discourse system in higher education.
