Abstract:
Since the new era, the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics has achieved remarkable accomplishments that have drawn worldwide attention. Effectively conveying the great transformations of the new era serves as the foundation and key to integrating the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China into the course of Modern Chinese History Outline. The crux lies in deeply grasping the educational value embedded within these transformations, applying the stance, perspectives, and methods of historical materialism to clearly and thoroughly explain questions such as what kind of great transformation the new era aims to achieve, how to realize it, and for whose benefit it is pursued. On this basis, teachers should develop targeted instructional designs, ensuring genuine learning, understanding, and delivery, comprehensively grasping key teaching points and difficulties, maintaining a problem-conscious approach throughout the teaching process, and innovating discourse expression and narrative methods. These efforts further elucidate the principles of effectively conveying the great transformations of the new era, providing inspiration for teaching the Outline of Modern Chinese History.
