Abstract:
The integration of ideological and political education into physical education is a crucial issue in deepening the reform of university physical education teaching, which is essential for implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education in physical education. At present, the in-depth integration of ideological and political education into university physical education faces practical dilemmas, including vague conceptual cognition, insufficient teachers' competency, lagging evaluation mechanisms, and disjointed curriculum systems. To promote the effective integration, universities should design physical education curricula featuring physical and mental coordination, explore innovative teaching practices centered on moral cultivation through physical education, build a teaching team competent in integrating morality and skills education, and construct an evaluation system based on integrated physical education and moral education. Multi-dimensional collaborative optimization can effectively improve the practical effect of fostering virtue through education.
