Abstract: The spirit of diligence and thrift originates from the economistic thoughts of classical Marxist writers, derives from the cultural tradition of diligence and frugality cherished by the Chinese nation, and takes shape from the practical experience summed up in the CPC's history of thrift. Rooted in the present context, this spirit aligns with the value orientation of building a clean and incorruptible political party, serves as the value guideline for fostering wholesome social conduct, and constitutes a value option for advancing the harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. To promote and practice the spirit of diligence and thrift for the New Era, feasible approaches shall be explored from the institutional dimensions of educational guidance, effective communication and coordinated implementation. It is essential to translate its theoretical "explanatory power" into practical "guiding power", so as to infuse spiritual impetus into Chinese-style modernization while cultivating new social trends and features of the times.
