Abstract: Rooted in the great practice of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Great Party-Founding Spirit, when integrated into the cultivation of young Marxists in universities, helps consolidate their ideals and convictions, inspire their sense of mission, foster their fighting spirit and cultivate their dedication. Against the backdrop of the new era and new development context, to incorporate the core connotations of seeking truth, shouldering responsibility, forging ahead and dedication embodied in the Great Party-Founding Spirit into the whole process of training young Marxists at colleges and universities, we must focus on four key approaches: education via theoretical teaching, campus culture, practical activities and online platforms, so as to give full play to the spirit’s powerful role in forging character and nurturing talents.
