Abstract: Supported by a mature sports event system and sound operational mechanisms, the sports tourism industry in the United States has achieved in-depth integration and large-scale development through the coordinated effect of talent training, government-social integration, safety guarantee, tax incentive and multi-subject collaborative governance, becoming an important part of its industrial economy. Drawing on U.S. practical experience and targeting existing development shortcomings, China's sports tourism industry should foster professional talent pools, build a multi-governance alliance, improve the safety guarantee system, and optimize the multi-party collaborative mechanism, so as to improve the industrial development ecology and promote the high-quality integrated development of sports tourism.
