Abstract: With the in-depth promotion of the Rural Revitalization Strategy, national traditional sports have played a unique and important role in promoting the inheritance of local culture, enhancing national pride and promoting rural social and economic development. Using the methods of literature research, field research and case analysis, this paper systematically investigated the mechanism of national traditional sports in cultural inheritance, industrial development and social governance. The study found that national traditional sports significantly promoted rural cultural identity and economic development through live inheritance and industrial integration, but its development still faced difficulties such as insufficient resource development, low level of industrialization, and poor policy coordination. Based on this, the study proposes to build a systematic path of digital protection, education inheritance, and industrial integration, and proposes to improve the system guarantee, cultivate market players, and promote cross-border collaboration, so as to achieve the deep integration of national traditional sports and rural revitalization.
