Abstract: Chemistry Safety Engineering is an important expansive course in the professional basic courses for college students majoring in Chemical Engineering and Technology. It is necessary in the teaching to arouse their initiative in learning with the emphasis on the meaning of the course, make arrangement on the teaching content according to the specialty characteristics, combine the teaching with coal chemical production process, and pay more attention to the case teaching by use of varieties of teaching methods for the enhance of teaching effect.
