Abstract: Urban residents in Huaibei, Anhui Province begin to face pension problems, such as more empty nest elderly, the heavy burden of old-age economy, and the low quality of life of the elderly. Therefore, we must take measures as encourage birth, improve the community home care, increase the support for the elderly families and others to effectively get rid of the plight of old age in resource-based cities.
