Abstract: Based on the analysis of no-English majors' scores of college English 4 in Anhui University of Technology, it shows that scores of the female students in the engineering university are higher than those of the male students in total mark, classroom performance, network test and the final examination. Besides the girls are better at learning foreign languages, it is also related to the fact that there are fewer girls while the career planning of girls is different from that of boys.
