Abstract: Making civil trial public is one of the key tasks of judicial reform in recent years. In the rapid development of internet, new media is in great depth and width of the application in making civil trial public, and the approach to the live streaming of court trial by internet gives the promotion to the judicial publicity and judicial justice. There exist however, in the application of new media into making civil trial public, such issues as the deficiency of litigant privacy protection and the shortage of concrete and comprehensive rules and regulations in the live streaming of court trial by internet, and those issues must be resolved for further improvement and optimization.
