Abstract: For the construction of urban and rural integration in Dangtu County, it is necessary to solve such issues as the economic development, policy integration, cultural and educational co-ordination, urban and rural distribution, and regional disparities. Its main task for promoting urban and rural integration is to quicken the construction of provincial centre villages, the planning construction of two lines and four districts and the comprehensive improvement on rural environment. And the main approach to be adopted can be focused on the following aspects:the promotion to the mechanism, the establishment of new type urban and rural relationship, the construction of unblocked channel to talents and the more investment from different circles, the expansion of peasant right of speech for the gradual equality of urban and rural resident well-beings, and the infrastructure construction and landscape construction.
