Abstract: The group mentality formed by the college network public opinion mainly includes herd mentality, generalization psychology, unbalance mentality and unreasonable attribution. For the college network public opinion, actions should be taken to encourage the positive public opinion, oppose the negative public opinion, do the work in the period of "the former popular opinion" well, grasp the initiative of the guidance of the popular opinion, and guide the group psychology to the positive direction, then make the public opinion beneficial to a harmonious and stable society.
