基于不同阅读方式的英语词汇习得策略研究

Research on Vocabulary Acquisition Strategies Based on Different Kinds of Reading

  • 摘要: 词汇是英语学习的基础。通过阅读习得词汇则是一种广泛认同的附带习得方法。精读习得词汇能精准习得词形与词义;泛读习得词汇可以更好地理解单词在文化语境中的含义;通过朗读方式习得词汇,学习者能够更好地对应词音与词形。应根据不同阅读方式的利弊,帮助学生采取合理的阅读策略,有效习得生词,提高英语学习水平。

     

    Abstract: Vocabulary is the basis of English study. Compared with the direct way of study, the incidental way is more beneficial for students to learn new words, and reading is a widely accepted incidental way for vocabulary study. Intensive reading can help to acquire word formation and meaning accurately; extensive reading can help understand word meaning in cultural context; while reading aloud can help match pronunciation with word formation. According to the advantages and disadvantages of different reading modes, we help students choose suitable reading strategies to acquire words more efficiently, so as to improve their ability of English study.
