Abstract: Shandong literature is deeply influenced by the Qilu culture with the core of Confucianism, with a long moral narrative tradition. As the earliest famous Shandong writer in the history of modern literature, Wang Tongzhao inherited this tradition. His works are good at moral narration, and shape many characters with moral feelings, which are the trinity of moral "good", "love" of human nature and "beauty" of art. Wang Tongzhao traces the times change of the moral consciousness in the local world, excavates and praises the traditional virtues that the peasants have not been changed by the times, and also depicts the great impact of the change of the times on the moral psychology of the farmers.
