Abstract: Western feminist socialism is a representative trend of thought in feminism, which has played a positive role in the feminist movement. From the social and historical background, institutional background and economic background, the feminists explore the social situation in which women are still oppressed in modern society and point out that its root lies in the combination of capitalism and patriarchy. These theories provide important enlightenment for the development of modern women from three dimensions:the awakening of women's self-consciousness, the independence of women's economy and the guarantee of policy system.
