Abstract: There are some problems in insurance courses of independent colleges, such as weak practical teaching links, backward content, lack of experimental teaching software and hardware, and lack of insurance knowledge of college students.Independent colleges should strengthen the cultivation of practical ability through school-enterprise cooperation, realize the integration of teaching materials based on multimedia, strengthen the application of insurance simulation software in teaching, improve the students' insurance cognition level and learning interest, and finally improve the quality of course teaching.
