Abstract: The starting point of the collectivist utilitarian principle is the fundamental interests of the people. In the process of adjusting the relationship between individuals and collectives, benefit guided by righteousness and complement between righteousness and benefit have been achieved. The values of collectivism realize the unity of utility and justice. The guiding value of collectivism promotes the all-round development of moral subject, thus forming a complementary mechanism between utilitarian principle and moral subject in the context of historical materialism.
