Abstract: From the perspective of the great united front pattern, the innovative united front work in colleges and universities is of great significance to promote the development of education, the construction of democratic politics, locality and university cooperation and so on. At present, there are some problems in the united front work in colleges and universities, such as weak united front consciousness, lag in the construction of large united front work mechanism, outdated methods and means and so on in a few colleges and universities. In the new era, colleges and universities should carry out path innovation in strengthening the party's leadership, ideological guidance, overall coordination, system construction, publicity guidance and condition construction, so as to do a good job in the united front work with high quality.
