On the Feeling of Life in Morandi's Painting Language

  • 摘要: 绘画语言是画家对客观生活审美的表达手段,是包含着技巧、形式和观念、精神的有机融合。莫兰迪的静物画无论是选题、造型,还是色彩、光影、空间,无不透露出鲜明的东方艺术情趣。造型简单的瓶瓶罐罐和看似无心涂抹的画面,背后隐藏的却是严谨的构图布局和简练写意的笔触,看似毫无神气的灰色却营造出宁静而悠远的美的意境。

     

    Abstract: Painting language is the painter's aesthetic expression of objective life, which is an organic integration of skills, forms, ideas and spirit. Whether in topic selection, modeling, color, light, shadow or space, Morandi's still life paintings all reveal a distinctive oriental artistic interest. Behind the simple bottles and cans and the seemingly inadvertent paintings, what is hidden is the rigorous composition layout and concise freehand brushwork. The seemingly lifeless gray creates a quiet and distant artistic conception of beauty.
