Abstract: Chizhou Luocheng folk song is an excellent local music culture in Anhui Province. Under the current background of art education, colleges and universities inherit and develop Chizhou Luocheng folk songs, not only promote and develop traditional music culture, but also improve the artistic quality and aesthetic feeling of college students. This paper expounds the general situation of Chizhou Luocheng folk songs, the status quo of inheritance and development and the corresponding role that colleges and universities can play, the significance of inheritance and development in colleges and universities, and how to inherit and develop it in colleges and universities.
