Abstract: The "Community of Human and Natural Life" inherits and transcends the traditional Chinese ecological thought. Chinese traditional ecological thought, based on the theory of "Taoism and nature" and "harmony between man and nature", extends the relationship between man and nature and lays the epistemological foundation of man and nature. Based on the current contradiction between man and nature and the realistic requirements of sustainable development, it takes the realization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature as its value pursuit, "Community of Shared Future for Mankind" as the premise of practice, and serving the people as its direct purpose. It inherits and surpasses the traditional Chinese ecological thought in many aspects such as the depth of practice and the height of theory.
