Abstract: As an important branch of ideological and political education, online ideological and political education has had important characteristics of interdisciplinary since its birth. In the textual research tracing of online ideological and political education, it can be found that its interdisciplinary school, as well as the biggest highlight is that it develops due to interdisciplinary, and now faces important opportunities of development. At the same time, with the help of the three subjects of psychology, communication and pedagogy which are the most closely related to online ideological and political education as the research object, frontier status of the development of the current field is explored, and the inevitable trend of interdisciplinary online ideological and political education is proved. Therefore, taking interdisciplinary as an important source of power for online ideological and political education to return to reality, and putting forward the practical application path combining virtual interpersonal relationship, typical technical means and network public opinion system, can constantly promote ideological and political education towards a more comprehensive, healthier and more sustainable direction.
