Abstract: It is significant to deepen the teaching reform of College English, improving its teaching quality for the satisfaction of the development of national social economy and the improvement of students. To deepen this reform, measures should be taken to optimize implement approach, scientifically set courses based on clear course orientation, objectives and characteristics. Teaching mode should be adjusted, together with the perfection of course assessment. Making a solid progress in this reform requires strengthening guarantee in organization, ideological understanding, teaching staffs, course books and conditions. Meanwhile, several main relations that are influential in this reform should be comprehensively arranged.
