Abstract: College counselors should do a good job of ideological leadership, information publicity, methodological guidance, etc., but there are problems such as lack of experience, low level, and insufficient systematization in counselors’ guidance of graduates’ employment. To address the problem of employment guidance for college graduates, counselors should improve their ideological understanding, integrate employment work into the whole process of students’ ideological education, and at the same time, improve the employment support mechanism and mobilize all effective forces to help graduates succeed in employment.
