Abstract: In the background of China’s engineering education certification, based on the teaching practice of probability theory and mathematical statistics in engineering universities, the teaching concept of “student-centered and results-oriented” is advocated, actively explore some new teaching methods, innovate new teaching methods and evaluation mechanisms, improve students’ mathematical ability and cultivate students’ creative thinking and practical ability.
