Abstract: Due to the influence of arts and political factors, the book cover design in the Minguo period of China experiences the development process from exploration to maturity, use for reference the external factors, and take notice of the national tradition from artistic techniques to artistic forms. Up to the period of Anti-Japansese War, the publications from content to form have given deeply the reflection of that era style.
