Abstract: At present, the music education major in higher junior universities and colleges are faced with a great many problems and challenges in aspects like students, teachers, courses, teaching and so forth. To press forward the development of the major, efforts need to be put on improving the quality of students, promoting the level of teachers, upgrading the curriculum system, innovating the model of teaching so as to raise the quality of talents training.
