Abstract: In English animal-related idioms, rhetorical devices such as simile, metaphor, metonymy, allusion, personification and exaggeration are often deployed to describe characters, things, lives, stock market, money, wealth, philosophy of life, etc. Proper and correct use of these animal-related idioms can help communicate messages effectively and make languages vivid.
