Abstract:
There is no real dialogue between the group images in Chekhov's play
Cherry Garden. Everyone is immersed in their own world of discourse and refuses to start a dialogue with others, which makes the speech between groups quite funny; the sudden interruption of others at an untimely time makes the "dialogue" a farce, which is ridiculous; occasional chaotic conversations between groups, gives readers a sense of absurdity. The representations of "refusal of dialogue", "occasional interruptions" and "chaotic dialogue" are special expressions in the creation of
Cherry Garden, presenting the characteristics of "non-dialogue" among groups and reflecting Chekhov's accurate grasp of life style.
