构式语法下“as x as y”习语的认知与教学

Cognition and Teaching of Idioms as “as x as y” in Constructive Grammar

  • 摘要: "as x as y"是英语习语中常见的一种结构式。从构式语法理论看,该习语结构具有体验性、不可预测性和民族性三大特征。在教学中应培养整体构式观、运用对比分析法、注重文化背景和强调反复练习,以提高教学效果,深化学生对于"as x as y"习语的了解。

     

    Abstract: "As x as y" is a common form of English idiom. From the theory of constructive grammar, the structure of the idiom is of three characteristics:experiential, unpredictable and national. Teachers should cultivate students' overall structure of the concept, use comparative analysis, and pay attention to cultural background and repeated practice in teaching to improve the teaching effect and deepen students' understanding of "as x as y" idiom.
