A Review of the Study of Concept Transfer from the Perspective of Linguistic Relativity

  • 摘要: 概念迁移假说是语言迁移研究的最新发展,语言相对论是概念迁移研究的理论基础,概念迁移的研究促进了语言迁移理论发展。学者认为,概念迁移实际上就是二语习得领域涉及语言相对论的研究。二语学习中概念习得的复杂性要求教师应创设语境,有意识引导学生注意二语的思维方式和习惯,促进学习者二语概念体系的形成。

     

    Abstract: The concept transfer hypothesis is the latest development of language transfer research, and the theory of linguistic relativity is the theoretical basis for the study of concept transfer whichhas promotedthe development of language transfer theory. Scholars believe that the concept transfer is actually the research involved in the study of linguistic relativity in SLA. The complexity of concept acquisition in SLA requires teachers to create context, to consciously guide students to pay attention to the mode of thinking and habits of asecond language, and to promote the formation of the second language concept system of the learners.
